"Excellent. Good size portions, no skimping on any ingredients. Spicy, soothing. Comforting, fresh. Everything I wanted. Seems to be owned by a sweet couple as well. Bonus: reasonably priced! 11 pound for an excellent meal."

"Visited Banhi Mi for lunch today. It's about a 10 min walk from Barbican station. The food was superb. Absolutely delicious and great quantity in an affordable price range. They serve halal chicken. I had the prawn wonton and grilled chicken bap bun for less than £10. They also had a selection of vegetarian options. Service was slow in the lunch hour but the staff were friendly and welcoming. The seating area in the front of the counter is great. There is more space inside and the atmosphere is ok. I would recommend this place for lunch any day. But make sure you have some time in hand as it may take some time for you to receive your order. But the taste and price was worth the wait!"

"Cheap, easy and delicious. My friend ordered before I got there so can't comment on the service but the food was a good portion and was generous with the meat. Veg made it delicious and the price at £8.50 wasn't bad for the area"

"The food for its price is very delicious. We spent 20£ on Pho for two people, the portions were big and had pretty healthy ingredients in it. We also received a small addition to our food with a little vegetables/greenery, it was nice! Overall really recommend this place"

"It is very rare to find authentic Vietnamese food. This place is the place for it. No frills, just good food. The place is clean and comfortable. The owners are Vietnamese, and often, they prepare the food themselves. The food is not premade, freshly prepared. I can't wait to go back."

"In London I couldn’t find any other Vietnamese restaurant better than this! Very authentic to a Vietnamese myself. Good environment for both stay in and take away. Amazing flavors. The staffs are lovely and friendly too! This is 10/10 for me and I would recommend it."
